Why the Habit Change Niche?

My idea has hatched!

I’ve been hinting for the past few weeks that I’m up to something big.

That “something” involves a particular coaching niche that my research tells me has TONS of clients looking for coaching.

I have been coaching in that niche for years, and want to empower other coaches to do the same. More than that, I  want coaches to be COACHING, not messing around trying to learn how to set up a business. So I will provide coaches with everything they need to “hit the ground running” as a working coach.

What is that “something” I’ve been hinting at?

It’s a template-driven system that provides coaches with a ready-made coaching niche, including:

  1. training in how to coach in this niche
  2. a marketing plan that tells them exactly what to do to get clients
  3. a niche website with blog, and ready-made written materials and templates for ordering business cards, etc.

But what’s the niche?

The niche is… (drum roll)…  Habit Change.

Why the Habit Change niche?

  1. it’s specific and easy for clients to grasp. Unlike general life coaching, clients know in advance what they are purchasing and what they will achieve
  2. clients will PAY to eliminate an unwanted habit and replace it with a healthy habit
  3. clients are often directed to change a habit or else (from their doctor, spouse, creditors, etc)
  4. there are many sub niches (nail biting, fitness, sleep, junk food, procrastination, chronic lateness, excessive Internet use, over-spending)
  5. it’s a niche that lends itself well to a systematic coaching program based on effective, well-documented techniques – therefore I can design a coaching program that even relatively new coaches can deliver with confidence

Here’s the thing

I’ll be totally frank with you. The last thing I want to do is create yet another program that drains coach’s wallets without paying off in increased income.

In other words, I only want to offer this system if it works. So I’ll be testing it with a small group of coaches first.

What a fantastic idea! Like getting a franchise that is successful already with all the support to get it up and running quickly.

The habit niche sounds like a good idea. Unfortunately, I am not a coach. I was interested in becoming one, but I couldnot find a good affordable program. Good luck!
